2023 Goodwood Revival 4-night tour

7-11 September 2023

The Goodwood Revival is the world's most popular historic motor race meeting and the only event of its kind to be staged entirely in the nostalgic time capsule of the 1940s, 50s and 60s that relives the glory days of Goodwood Motor Circuit.

Goodwood is a former WW2 airfield, an extension of nearby RAF Tangmere. In the immediate post-war period, the circuit came into existance as the original perimeter road was put to good use at a time when the likes of Brooklands had closed and Silverstone was not considered for motorsport. Racing continued at the circuit until 1966 when the track was deemed too dangerous for competition - though through careful restoration and modification it's hard to see how the venue has been adapted to allow for the on-track action seen at the Revival.

This fabulous, and very popular, 4-night tour combines a short stay at the excellent Portsmouth Marriott 4* hotel with luxury coach transfers to Goodwood.

On Saturday your entry includes roving grandstand seating, while on Sunday trackside VIP hospitality in the 'Assembly Rooms' (the SuperShell Building) awaits.

Cars on a Goodwood Revival grid

Grids of cars offer a glimpse of what racing was like in Goodwood's heyday, with eye-watering values as the classic car 'scene' has taken off again in recent years. To see a grid of Ford GT40s, or Ferrari 250GTOs, heading into Madgwick Corner, their values off the scale - a 250GTO sold in 2013 for over $50 million - is a sight that must be seen to be believed!

Recent years have seen battles up and down the Goodwood Revival grids - whether it's the Freddie March Trophy with its priceless grid or the more 'mundane' grid of saloon cars of the St Mary's Trophy there's on track action to enthral. Add to that the spectacle of many of Goodwood's guests arriving in period dress (and often period cars), incredible off-track static displays, aviation and more - the Goodwood Revival really is a step back in time!
